I analyzed the available facts and found no clear technical explanation from OpenAI specifically for mobile UX. However, indirect data is already concerning: bug reports from March 8–9, 2026, mention "GPT 5.2 Extended thinking" with speeds of around 4 tokens per second. For casual conversation, this is barely acceptable; for work tasks, it is simply bad.

What catches my attention most is not the sluggishness itself, but the nature of the output.
